Online scams can be extremely damaging to an individual's finances and steal sensitive information that can be a nightmare to fix.  In general, phishing scams will appear as innocent requests from online hackers, but if you follow their requests or hand over your Social Security information, then you should immediately contact your bank to ensure they do not open new accounts.  These scammers tend to target senior citizens and can be difficult to avoid daily while using the Internet.

At its core, LastPass is a password manager.  A password manager is a software service that allows users to store encrypted passwords so they can be accessed easily when they are needed.  LastPass is indeed very popular, but it is only one of many widely known password managers, each with their own features, advantages, and disadvantages.  Other commonly known password managers include BitWarden, Dashlane, 1Password.

Phishing Emails are being used with small font size to bypass security filters.  Researchers at Avanan have spotted phishing emails that are using a font size of one (1) to fool email security scanners.  The emails appear to be password expiration notifications from Microsoft 365.  The attackers have inserted benign links that are invisible to the human eye, but trick security scanners into viewing the email as a legitimate marketing email.
