Our friends from Dryad Global shared various maritime briefs for our situational awareness:
4 September 2019, Persian Guld area: A M/V reported being followed by two skiffs within 200M (very close). The Skiffs were colored green in color with two persons on board bot vessels. This is in the area of recent Iranian maritime intervention.
15 August 2019, Cameroon Africa: possible kidnapping of crew members off the M/V Victory C and the Marmalaita. As of the date of this report, no communication from crew members.
21 July 2019, Indonesia: Pirate attack on board the M/V Bluebell.
2 July 2019, Port Aliaga, Turkey: LNG explosion on board the M/T Synzania while in port. Unknown if related to terrorist activity or accidental.
